UTIs affect about half the women over the course of a lifetime and happen to be the reason for about 8 million doctors’ visits each year. Women are prone to UTIs than men because of their shorter urethras. Adult men have a bacterial growth inhibitor that is injected directly into their urinary system because of their prostate glands.

Symptoms:

– Persistent urge to pee
– Burning sensation when urinating
– Passing frequent, small amounts of urine
– Urine that appears cloudy
– Urine that appears red, bright pink or cola-colored
– Strong smelling urine
– Pelvic pain for women
– Rectal pain for men

Ingredients

– 125 grams parsley root
– 125 grams lemon peel
– 125 grams honey
– 1 dl olive oil

Directions:
1. Chop parsley root and blend
2. Add lemon peel, olive oil and honey blend until all are dissolved
3. Refrigerate mixture
4. Take ½ tbsp. every morning
Reminder: You need to make sure the honey and the lemon are organic and pesticide free. Avoid consuming caffeine and chocolate because these will stimulate the bacteria in the infection.

Grandpa Dobri - The Humble Beggar

This is the story of the 98 year old beggar Dobri of Bailovo village in Bulgaria who's become the most generous benefactor of the largest Cathedral in Eastern Europe...

In addition a friend of mine whose mother works at an orphanage told me that this noble old man paid the orphanage's power bills becuase they were too high and the power was going to be cut and children left in the cold...

Dressed in his home-spun clothes and ancient leather shoes worn in winter and summer he could often be seen standing outside the church St. Alexander Nevsky in Sofia somewhat detached and silently clutching his tin-box for coins. I see him every day I pass by. Grandpa Dobri holds the key to people's hearts. Softened at his very appearance, we all rush to put a coin in the hands of the elderly man.

Apparently he gets up early every day and walks the 10 kilometre route from his village Bailovo to Sofia. He enjoys speaking to the busy passers-by and kisses the hand of everyone who stops for a chat.
To people in Sofia he's been known for many years simply as Grandpa Dobri - the beggar.
In 2010 during filming a documentary about the Nevsky Cathedral a journalist working for the Bulgarian national TV found in the church's archives a shocking discovery - the most generous private donation that the church ever received was by no other than the old beggar - Granpa Dobri. It was an astounding EUR 40,000.
The 98-year-old Bailovo saint has not touched even a single penny from the money we all thought he lived off. He apparently lives only off his 100 Euro a month retirement and what people kindly leave him - mainly fruit and bread...
Now, having chosen a life of a hermit, he tours the churches on public holidays, raising money for temples and monasteries. 10 years ago, when he was "still young"...he says, he used to walk the distance from Sofia to Bailovo and other places - now he travels around the city by bus...
Most likely Dobri's good deeds will remain a secret. People say he's also helped numerous needy people living in shelters. Yet, he doesn't want to talk about it..
When you GIVE don't do it for the PR or waiting to get something back it like grandpa Dobri - from the heart...I believe that this is the reason for his unbelievable energy and life he's got at his age :)

Man Dead For 40 Minutes Brought Back To Life With New CPR Technique

Man Dead For 40 Minutes Brought Back To Life With New CPR TechniqueAn Australian man who was clinically dead for 40 minutes was brought back to life, thanks to a relatively new cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) procedure.

Colin Fiedler, a 39-year-old from Dandenong in Victoria, was pronounced dead at The Alfred Hospital last June after suffering a heart attack, according to Australian news outlet Herald Sun. Doctors were able to revive him with the use of a mechanical CPR machine called the "AutoPulse," along with a portable heart-lung machine to keep blood and oxygen flowing to his vital organs.

Fiedler is one of seven cardiac arrest patients in Australia treated with the technique and one of three revived after being declared dead for 40 to 60 minutes, the Herald Sun notes.

The AutoPulse is a non-invasive, cardiac support pump that moves more blood throughout the body than manual compressions, according to manufacturer Zoll. It minimizes no-flow time and squeezes the entire chest as opposed to single-spot CPR.

The AutoPulse was first commercialized in 2003. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) have been discussing the usefulness of the CPR device for years, as well.

“It keeps chest pressure continuous and closer to therapeutic level,” EMT Intermediate and Sandy, Ore., volunteer David Silvia told ProCPR Blog back in 2009, “which in turn helps us administer the drugs. And there are no interruptions in CPR because you can shock, and give the drugs while it is running.”

“This has changed the way we work a cardiac arrest incident,” added Nathan Jaqua, an EMT Basic and student firefighter. “We use the same skills, but it changes the entire atmosphere.”

The U.S. National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) conducted a study on the effect of AutoPulse in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest resuscitations in 2010. After examining the response of 29 patients, the NCBI concluded that the AutoPulse caused a greater increase of diastolic blood pressure, compared to manual chest compressions. The department added that this device is "promising" and could be beneficial as a care strategy.

10 Creepiest Food Facts.

Please don't read this post if your hungry right now because you won't feel same after reading these mind blowing creepiest facts about your day today fast food.

HERE WE GO WITH OUR HUNGER KILLING FACTS.

1.THE AVERAGE FAST FOOD PATRON EATS 12 PUBIC HAIRS IN A GIVEN YEAR.

"we all get rare occasional hair in our food but Ingesting unwanted hair is more likely to occur at fast food restaurants."

2.A STRAWBERRY MCDONALD'S MILK SHAKE CONTAINS 50 ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS

"Apparently, real strawberries are expensive. So fast food companies like McDonald's choose to use a ridiculous concoction of 50 chemicals to effectively imitate the flavor of one real-world food. These chemicals include ethyl acetate, phenythyl alcohol and solvent."

3.THIS IS WHERE CHICKEN NUGGETS COME FROM.(updated on 28 december 2012)

"Before reshaping, foods like chicken nuggets, hot dogs, bologna and pepperoni look like a disgusting sludge of pink paste. This is done through a process called mechanical separation, which is a cost-effective way to "smooth out" bone remnants left after the de-boning process. The process results in excessive bacteria, which is fixed by washing the meat in ammonia. To cover up that delicious ammonia flavor, the meat is then re-flavored artificially and dyed to resemble to type of meat it once was."

McDonald's Chicken McNuggets are typically offered as an example of a popular MSP-based food, since 2003 that product has been made with all white meat rather than MSP.(read more here)

4.THERE ARE BUGS AND RODENT HAIR IN YOUR PEANUT BUTTER.

"FDA laws allow for an average of 30 insect fragments per 100 grams of peanut butter. In that same half cup of peanut butter, you'll also find at least one rodent hair (on average). Yum! Now that's good eating!"

5. SHELLAC IS AN IMPORTANT INGREDIENT IN JELLY BEANS.

"Shellac is a type of finishing product that is typically used to improve the shine of wood and furniture. However, it can also be used to improve the shine of certain foods, such as jelly beans. Where does shellac come from? Why, it's secreted by an insect in Thailand called the Kerria Iacca of course!"

6.VARIOUS VIRUSES CAN BE FOUND ON PROCESSED LUNCH MEAT

"Food production companies have long sought ways to combat unhealthy microbes found on processed foods such as lunch meat and hot dogs. A few years ago, the FDA approved the use of bacteriophages (a.k.a. viruses) that help kill these dangerous microbes. So, basically, viruses are purposely being added to your food to improve shelf life."

7.IF NOT FOR ONE INGREDIENT, DRINKING A CAN OF COKE WOULD MAKE YOU VOMIT.

"While cocaine was long taken out of Coca-Cola long ago, the current formula is still formulated to get you high. Each can of Coke contains 10 teaspoons of sugar. This is 100 percent of your recommended daily intake. In normal circumstances, the extreme sweetness of this much sugar would immediately cause you to vomit uncontrollably. However, since all that sugar is addictive and keeps you coming back for more, Coca-Cola adds phosphoric acid -– an ingredient that cuts the sweetness to manageable levels."

8.FAST FOOD SALADS CONTAIN CHEMICALS USED IN ANTIFREEZE.

"Choosing to "eat healthy" at a fast food restaurant isn't necessarily a good idea. To prolong crispness, packaged salads are dusted with Propylene Glycerol, a chemical commonly found in antifreeze. In its concentrated form, the chemical has been known to cause eye and skin irritation"

9.CHICKEN MCNUGGETS CONTAIN BEEF.

"Many fast food chicken items contain beef additives used to enhance flavor and juke health stats. Chicken McNuggets, the Wendy's Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and KFC Grilled Chicken Sandwich are a few examples. Check the ingredients, and you'll see no sign of such atrocities. That's because such beef additives are listed as "extract" or "essence.""

10.PROCESSED CHEESE IS LESS THAN 51 PERCENT CHEESE.

"A more accurate name for Kraft Singles and other packaged cheeses is "cheese-like substance." Any cheese product labeled as processed or pasteurized includes additives, chemicals and flavorings that account for up 49 percent of the total product. As a result, that cheap cheese in your grocery store has just enough real cheese in it to allow companies to call it cheese."

Dolphins Help Save Dog from Drowning!

On Marco Island, Florida a group of dolphins came to the aid of a lost Dog that had fallen into a canal and couldn't get out. The dolphins made so much noise, it attracted the attention of people living nearby, who then rescued the dog. The Dog was believed to have spent 15 hours in the canal water before he was pulled out by fire personnel and reunited with his owner.

One of the people whose attention was captured by the noisy, demonstrative dolphins said, "They were really putting up a ruckus, almost beaching themselves on the sandbar over there. If it wasn't for the dolphin, I would have never seen the dog.” (Source: ABC7news) He said also if the dolphins hadn't persisted enough to get their attention, they dog would have died in the canal.

In 2007, a pod of dolphins formed a ring around a surfer who was injured and bleeding after being bitten by a Great White shark. The surfer survived because they prevented further bites. No one knows exactly why dolphins have intervened in such emergency situations, and helped save the lives of other species. Suffice to say they are capable of empathy and heroic actions.
